We perhaps do not give our carpets the attention they deserve. People tend to underestimate the number of bacteria and germs that a carpet is able to hold. Smells can linger in carpets more than any other fabric because the smell gets into the fibres, and can not easily be removed. If you have bad odours within your home, it can affect your mind. It could lead you to overthink the smell when you have visitors over, or it could make you irritable because you cannot locate the smell. In time and regular carpet cleaning, you will find smells eradicated leaving your home smelling fresh once more.
