Unplugged gaming is an American gaming platform that is dedicated to the card gaming industry. They have a magazine directed towards this platform. The initiative was started by Asus in 2015. The platform regularly conducts a tour that is not only focused on gaming but encompassing many other tech enthusiasts and computer geeks. Unplugged gaming store extends its activities to hangouts, mingling, and other party events where different weirdos meet to discuss different cool ideas. From time to time, amazing events come up. There are events such as modding where real gamers come around to flaunt their talents, special sales promo where tech geeks get their favorite accessories from the unplugged game store and at a cheaper price. Tech seminars are also conducted to enlighten PC enthusiasts on current news and career ambitions.

Unplugged gaming has decided to hold their events at Cyberjaya because of the very peaceful atmosphere around the location. The place is much farther from the noisy places in Malaysia so the events have been successful because of the serene environments. Since the venue is limited in space, many of their events are in favor of geeks who come with their own laptops, and dongles. Bringing notebooks to the events is not entirely bad, however, priority is given to those who come with their DIY PCs. And as for other accessories many of them are allowed in the event and there are some that are not allowed. One is advised to bring all necessary accessories such as headphones or earbuds, extension, mouse, and power cables. However intrusive accessories such as speakers are not allowed in the event. There are also provisions for lodging in a hotel at one’s own cost.

PC geeks that are below 18 years are usually not allowed, however, persons who are almost 18 may have to provide a letter of consent gotten from their parents during the process of registration. And at the event games are not installed or provided for participants, everyone has to come with their games already installed before the event. There are other rules, participants need to familiarise themselves with.

First, every participant should know that they are solely responsible for their personal possessions therefore all accessories are brought to the event at the owner’s risk. Every PC brought must also be installed with antivirus software for standard security. And there is always a stern warning on bringing or drinking alcohol, drugs, and other forms of intoxicants at the event. Also, extreme sporting activities such as biking, skating, and skateboarding are not allowed. Sensual activities such as watching pornography are also greatly discouraged. Although everyone is afforded the luxury of lodging at a room of their choice, other rooming activities such as cooking is very much not allowed.  For unplugged gaming, their rules, are not strictly followed and law offenders are subject to dire consequences as the organizers deem fit. These rules are however not rigid, therefore they are subject to amendment by organizers from time to time.
