Contrary to what we expected, the year of 2021 could not live up to the hype due to the impact of the pandemic on the industry. However, we still got some great AAA classics in Halo Infinite, Resident Evil Village, and Hitman 3.

In any case, if we are talking from a true gamer’s viewpoint, the year couldn’t quench our thirst for gaming. Due to this reason, many people were looking forward to what the industry was going to offer in 2022.

And…

We are amazed. Whether it’s the new edition of Dying Light or the return of the acclaimed Souls series with Elden Ring – we got what we wanted. Now, we want to share a part of our enthusiasm with you through this article.

Yes, you guessed it right!

Here, we’ll discuss the most anticipated games that are going to be released in 2022 and offer our verdict on each of them. This way, you’ll know if the title is worth buying or not.

So, without making any further ado, let’s begin!

Top Games To Look Forward To In 2022

As promised before, in this section, we will discuss four games that are sure to blow your mind away.

However, just so you know, we will talk about both already-released and yet-to-be-released games here. This way, you will have something to play with and look forward to while running through 2022.

Also, before we begin, we just wanted to let you know that you can find most of the games on The Pirate Bay. There’s no need to spend your money on anything. Just get into the site, type in the name of the game, and download it. Simple!

Title – 1: Sifu

Sifu, in essence, is an honest “beat ‘em up” game, which is extravagantly beautiful both in the gameplay and graphics department. The scenario is set in modern-day China, where you have to live your life as a Kung-Fu student. Your mission is all about finding the murderers of your family and avenging them by hook or crook.

Our Verdict

Oh boy, here we go.

In our opinion, Sifu is amazing!

It’s graphically gorgeous, and the gameplay?

Chef’s kiss.

Nonetheless, we feel the difficulty of the game is a little higher than most people probably would have liked. But, if you are like us and love a challenge, you’ll have no complaints!

Title – 2: Elden Ring

Let’s be honest, Elden Ring has been the most significant release of 2021 – and you probably already know at least something about it. However, did you know that George R.R. Martin famously wrote the plot and mythos of the title’s storyline? Yep, that’s right. Also, like Bloodborne, FromSoftware’s earlier release, it follows open-world, third-person gameplay.

Our Verdict

Let’s address the elephant in the room first!

As a part of the famous Souls series, this game is going excruciatingly challenging. The boss fights are significantly trickier. If you are not careful about your positioning and gearing, you will be one-shotted after passing through a point of the game.

We also found the story to be pretty exciting. The weapons and fighting style of the same are pretty amazing as well.

Title – 3: Saints Row – Reboot

As the name suggests, it’s the reboot of the first Saints Row that got us all excited. However, this time around, the game will be pretty much different than the previous one. For example, in this one, you’re going to take over nine districts instead of the galaxy. There’s also a co-op feature available where you can curate your own character and launch businesses.

Our Verdict

Not sure about you, but we are pretty excited about the new Saints Row. As per the trailer and storyline, it looks much more realistic and GTA-like (uh-oh). Nonetheless, we are taking it in a positive manner and keeping an eye out for the same.

Title – 4: God Of War – Ragnarok

Since the first installment, the God of War franchise has been a dream come true for RPG fans. Hence, when we heard that a new edition in the series was coming out, we couldn’t stop ourselves from looking into it.

… And, boy, it’s going to be fantastic.

Our Verdict

God of War – Ragnarok is going to be the final game of Kratos’ Norse Saga. It will show how our hero, the Godkiller, fares against Pantheon and his troop. From what we have seen, the gameplay of the title will be similar to before.

However, in our opinion, the graphics have improved even more. The shadows are looking much more prominent, and the scenery looks much more realistic than before.

As long as it does not have any lags or other drawbacks, it can definitely become a Game Of The Year contender.

The More You Game, The More You Learn
