Ayurveda, is known for its ancient Indian health care treatment, Originated since more than5,000 years ago and is often termed as “Mother of All Healings”. The word Ayurveda is obtained from a Sanskrit word ayur which means “life” and veda means “knowledge”. Therefore Ayurveda decode as knowledge of life. The values of numerous natural therapeutic methods that are now used in the west world have its roots in Ayurveda. That includes Homeopathy Treatment and Polatity Treatment. The Five Elements of Ayurveda

Ayurveda shed light on the formation of five great elements, which is Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. They believe that all creation stands up on these five great elements. That includes all organic life i.e. the Vegetable Empire and the living creatures in the animal Empire which includes human beings. It has even created all the elements in the mineral Empire.

Human comprises of these same five elements, human body has various spaces that includes the mouth, the ears, respiratory paths, chest space etc. This display that life is a miniature of nature.

As indicated earlier, Space is a sign of the Air element that signify human body as movement. For instance, Air displays the movement of your muscles, the respiratory movements, the movement of your heart and blood etc. Fire is considered to be the third universal element of nature. Fire is identified as the metabolic development of the human body which consist of numerous cells that generates heat and energy. Fire displays the digestive system as the digestive biomolecules, in thyroid gland it is displayed as heat-generation hormone known as thyroxin. Therefore digestion, temperature controlling, reflects the functions of Fire element.

Water, is sign as the fourth element which is omnipresent in your body, made of almost 78 percent of the total body weight in an average person.

The Earth also known as prithvi, is the fifth element that displays the outer space of the heavenly bodies. It offers all bodies be it living or non-living a unified form, strength and toughness. The Earth, in human body represent the muscles, bones skin, hair and solid structures.

The Three Fundamental Principles of Ayurveda

In Ayurveda, the five elements of human body combines to form three simple categories of life-energy or the fundamental principles. They are Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These energy control the body work by providing fluids and nutrients to the body cells. In Ayurveda the reason for disease is witnessed by lack of accurate cellular function caused due to increase or decrease of these three elements. Every energy consist of a specific primary as well as secondary movements on the human physiology.  Sometimes a syrup for liver disease might work out to be a welcome resort.

Vasta – This is classified as the energy related to movement. In the human body the space and Air combines to form Vasta. It mainly rules the muscles and tissue movement, the respiratory system, the heartbeat, and all other movements in the plasma membranes. A variation in vata may cause panic and nervousness.

Pitta – This is identified as the energy of the digestive system or metabolism. It’s a form of fire and water element. This mainly rules the digestive system, consumption, nourishment, metabolism and the body heat. A variation in Pitta may cause anger, abomination as well as bitterness.

Kapha–This is identified as the energy of lubrication and structure. It rules the bones, muscles of the human body. It offer the” adhesive” which grips the cells jointly. It is a form of Earth and water element. A variation in kapha may cause greed and jealousy.
