Haleh Mashian is one of her own kind. She is the most vehement, fierce, and passionate woman born and brought up in Iran. She is the founder and owner of Mash gallery. A place which is located in the L.A. Arts District and it is known to elevate the gallery experience to experiential. She is the Lead designer of Mash City fashion. Her innovations in the men and women clothing line are thrilling and extra-ordinary. Her profound sense of beautifying everything has made her one of the most desirable interior designers in the country. The list of her proficiencies is endless but the most important thing which inspired her to enter into the creative field was her love for art. She is a renowned artist, admired across nations.
It is impossible to enumerate her accomplishments with any possible combination of numeral data. It is difficult to keep a track of her success stories as they are unfathomable. She achieved everything in life through her resilient and visionary attitude. As her early life was not a very easy path to recover from, but her perseverance and persuasive personality helped her overcome from every difficulty and led her to where she is today.
She spent most of her teenage life witnessing the Iranian revolution. At 20, she went to the United States with her younger brother and both of them were granted religious asylum there. After coming to the United States, she started exploring her artistic side. The United States helped her to overcome her insecurities and pursue her passion. She said “I didn’t have a chance to explore something more than just surviving. When you are in survival mode, all your energy goes into survival. You need to be safe to want to explore other things.”
When she started exploring her artistic side, she met the driving force of her life in the form of Dr. Michael Gottlieb, her spiritual master teacher. He assisted her in discovering different sides of art, creativity, and life. She says “By connecting to a deeper place in me via his teachings and meditation, a new wealth of creativity and courage was showered upon me. In a way, because of my spiritual pursuit, I became an artist.” She explored different forms of artwork like fashion design, digital art, music and excelled in all of them. Haleh Mashian’s art has vibrantly exemplified her exceptional, astute view of the world.
She is currently celebrating the second anniversary of her success at gallery which was established in 2018. A woman of extra-ordinary talent explains her evolution by saying “I wanted to be engaged with the world. It is very exciting to exchange with others. I value that tremendously.”
When she was asked to share the secret of her fearlessness and artistic approach towards life, she said “It’s all about self-expression while being authentic. The more creative and expressive you are, the more intelligent you become and that’s what art is: creativity, expression, intelligence.” Haleh explains, “Manifesting something that was not there before, bringing it to life and creating something out of nothing. That’s how you become an artist.”
