Like other games, judo has been a way of staying fit, especially for people who owe it to getting their body fit. You don’t get to improve on your body alone, and you also get an additional value of making new friends that could be a great asset to your trade. For a layman who doesn’t have an idea of what judo means, there would be a need to explain that before one delves into the game as a whole. You must have heard about martial art before now, in fact, we can conclude that you must have seen in a movie or two.

It is a type of martial art founded by a Japanese, the man who invented judo is Kano Jigoro as far back as the nineteenth century. The Japanese word ‘Judo’freely translates to gentle way. There are two tenets that the judo game is based on, they are minimum effort and maximum efficacy. Judo is never a magical kind of game. You might wonder that a smaller fellow finds it very easy to defeat their stronger-looking opponent. Size is never a condition for an upper hand in judo but strength and skills. If you know basic judo throws and have the required skills with enoughstrength, you can defeat most of your opponents in the judo game.

You might have to spend time learning different techniques, and they would be your pride eventually since you are going to need the fundamentals when you are building on what you know already. Judo is a very popular game, and it gained its general acceptability in different countries since its introduction as part of the Olympic sport in 1964. Different countries have incorporated the judo game as part of their sport, and the reasons are not far-fetched. There are basic throws that enable you to exercise a specific part of your body. In traditional medicine, judo is one of the games prescribed for patients who need to strike a balance between their body and mind.

Your mental state matters whenever you want to play a game like judo. It is agame that puts your mind and body to the test. As a beginner, you would need to undergo specific training before you can be considered a player and afterwards, you can progress to a master after different scrutiny. There are basic training methods that have been used generally by players all over the world. We have the Kata( formal exercises), Randori (freestyle fighting), and shiai ( competitions).

As for formal exercises, you have to get a trainer that has knowledge about judo and can give direction on when to attack or defend. The trainer must have adequate knowledge of rules guiding body movement. There is what we call judo theory that the trainer must put into consideration before setting rules for body motion.

There is also the Randori, and this method allows participants in a number not less than two to practice so as to explore their throws and grappling techniques. You tend to explore your potential in this type of training method since your ability to learn different throw skill is a plus. The last training method is the Shiai, and what this means is matches. After you must have learned different techniques, then you would begin to make use of your skill in competitions. You tend to simulate real-life situations by setting up training sessions that look like an official match.

However, when people talk about the basic throws in judo games. It is important that you know that it all comes from practice. The type of practice where you engage in a training session with someone better than you is what we refer to as throw-away practice. If you are ready to learn the essential art of how to become a master in judo games in no time, then you would need to adopt some methods. First off, you should always try to erase from your mind that the reason why you are practicing judo is to win; by doing so, there is a possibility that you tend to pick some knowledge or skill and drop some. That practice of training to win is not a new thing in the judo game. However, we can only stress the importance of learning the basics and build on it so that it becomes part of you. The similitude of a person practicing to win is like that of a student reading to pass an exam. Indeed, the exam would come and go, but the basic knowledge would be missing, which is of utmost importance.

The essential thing that you always need to remember is that it is never about the time you take to become a master or veteran. What counts is your ability to be able to reproduce what you have learnt quickly. You can go for the options of fixing matches that would allow you to explore your potentials.

Judo and injuries

Every sport has its peculiar risk; hardly would you see any that does not come with any. Judo games have been a famous game since it has been introduced to the Olympics. It has been one of the famous martial arts that could cause injuries if proper caution is not taken. Like the football game, where players are susceptible to injury on their part that they use in kicking the ball, judo also has similar challenge that the knees and the shoulder are the most vulnerable part that can be injured while playing the game. Some people think that it is not normal for anyone to be afflicted with injury in judo games. This is not true since you make use of your body parts, and the possibility of twisting your hand is real. Judo injury could happen to anyone, even to the best of us.

We can only be sure of the fact that injuries in judo games should not be a frequent occurrence, but they should be part of the game regardless. The significant injuries that people experience are shoulder, knee injuries since these parts of the body are adequately in use. Due to pressure on the shoulder, or in some cases, when you want to make a twist and fail, a certain injury would come unannounced. The good news is that you can always manage shoulder injury or minimize its severity. The only thing you have to do is that ensuring that your skills are well-practiced could be a way of getting away with any potential damage. If you eventually come down with any injury in the part of your body, then you would need to allow it to heal before you get back into the game. If you are the type that always rushes into the game before your body heals, then you are likely going to experience another injury which can complicate the state of your physical and mental health. The truth is that when players get injured, they take time off to learn about different ways of not making the same mistake that they have made in the past. It is somehow pleasurable to watch from the bench. By doing so, you would be able to identify any errors that players make when making moves in the judo game. If you have experienced injury more than once, it would be advisable to make sure you look before you leap.
