While most of us know the month in which our visa expires, we usually do not remember the date. Then it is common to go around the passport pages to check the validity of your visa as the month approaches.
While the process is not stressful, it does take you a little longer to complete and you will probably have to travel a lot more than.
But our passport isn’t always with us, don’t we? So what are we going to do? Your passport number and your passport expiry date are all necessary in order to confirm the validity of your residence visa.
So even if you have a photo of your passport or a scanned copy stored on your mobile, you are fine.
You may also be asked to carry your passport at all times in the airport as well as in the country.
Visa validity Primary Ways
This service is available via its website from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. A visitor can enter passport information in order to test whether the visa is still valid and whether the visa given is authentic. Visa validity can also be checked on the official government’s website by residents.
There are three primary ways for citizens to find out whether their foreign visa was legit
- First, residents can contact the foreign embassies of the nations concerned in order to obtain information about the validity of their visa.
- Second, residents can visit the websites of the national embassies that correspond to the countries concerned.
- The third is to go to your consulate and phone them to have them examine the visa. If the consulate said that your foreign visa was valid, you can get it canceled.

Reminder for checking the visa Status
Please be aware that each emirate has its own GDRFA cable, where you can check the status of a UAE visa, before proceeding with the checks. Before you proceed, make sure to have at least the UAE Visa application form (PAD, GRP, FPR, FPA or BPA).
Step by step Guideline
If your passport is missing, you will need to fill in a visa application form and a UAE visa application form together. The UAE Visa application form includes the required forms and the required visa information. On arrival at the Saudi Arabian border, you will be checked in.
- Travel to iStaunch.
- Go to I Staunch. Com and search in the search bar for UAE Visa status.
- A page to check your UAE visa status is available here.
- The following is available to type Passport Numbers or the Unified Emirates
- Numbers on the Emirates ID. Click the ID Number below to open a new tab.
- Remove any unwanted and old or duplicate numbers from the ID. To see Emirates numbers, or set the UAE Visa status to Global (i.e. green card) click. If you want to see expired Emirates numbers.
- Please also update your ID.
- Update your passport number with the updates page.
- You can also use the terminal to swipe your Emirates ID card to enter the machine or scan the code for an AEC-operated travel card.

Verification by using mobile number
It is vital that the authority sends the status of your request on the mobile number issued on a regular basis in the application form when you are able to monitor the visa status using the passport number.
These time frames will allow for your desired response. The response will only be sent by the proper authority when your application has been submitted with the mobile number with approved, if they are able to monitor this, you should receive an email with the result within 24 hours from the time the status is submitted in the application form.
