Because of the lockdown, people weren’t able to go to stores to shop for their daily needs. However, this didn’t bother people for long because of enhancement in online shopping methods because of technology. The Door-step-delivery concept helped people a lot and also helped in reducing the spread of the Coronavirus. Moreover, some countries like China and the USA are also planning to introduce drone deliveries to eliminate human contact during deliveries. 

Moreover, several mobile applications were floated to make people aware of the intensity of COVID-19 infection in any area they are traveling. Besides, the digital payment system was implemented to effective control virus spread. 

4. Industrial Sector: Use of 3D Printing, Robotics, and Drones

Several factories were shut down because of the pandemic because of the lack of workers. Technology advancements like 3D printing, automated-machines, and drones became very helpful to many industries. 3D printing was used to produce different products quickly. This also helped to remove the ban of export and import of products as very less man-power is used in making the products. 

During the initial days when there was a huge need for medical equipment but workers were not available, then 3D printers were widely used to produce this equipment. Drones were used for inspection and product deliveries in many cases.
