How to Reach

The Guhantara Resort is only 35 KMS from Bangalore. You can travel by road to reach here. If you are driving yourself, taking the NICE Bangalore Mysore Expressway is recommended. There are also several buses plying which you can take from Bengaluru. Of course, there are always cabs available. The resort is well-connected so one doesn’t need to worry. Timings and Best Time to Visit

You can visit this resort as a one-day outing, and choose to stay at this resort too. The resort is a pleasant place all throughout the year. 

For those who are planning to make their visit a single-day outing, it is advised to visit before 9 AM to enjoy delicious breakfast, and leave after High Tea at around 5:30 PM.

Meal Timing

There’s a multi-cuisine restaurant and a coffee lounge in the resort. The resident food court of the hotel is called Sambhojna, which again, has a classy cave-like decor. Madhushala is the bar of this resort, where beers and other spirits are served. The meal timings of the resort are as follows-

Breakfast- 9:00 – 9:30

Lunch- 13:00 – 14:00

High Tea- 16:30 – 16:45

Dinner- 21:00 – 22:00

The resort provides different types of accommodation which are all designed keeping in mind the resort’s underground theme. However, don’t let the primitive theme fool you. All the rooms have every modern amenity. The types of accommodations are listed below-

Activities- What is Included and What is Not

There are many activities which you can enjoy here at Guhantara Resort at no extra cost like swimming pool, rain dance (30 minutes), and games like billiards, table tennis, badminton, tug of war, cricket, kite flying etc. Bonfire is available on-demand too.

This resort even comes with a spa called Agastya Kuteera whereto can relax in the Ayurvedic magic that the therapists give you and let go of all the stress and the thoughts bothering you. Additionally, there’s a special fish pedicure too. These facilities are however not included and has to be paid by the guest.

Rangamandapa is a 700 people capacity auditorium where the folk artists can indulge you in some traditional entertainment. It also comes with Samvaad, a state of the art conference room.
