The pleasant existence of a network, whether it’s miles a political unit or a commercial enterprise agency, depends on the character of all its members and on the virtue of its leaders. The chapter describes some virtues of extremely good leaders needed for the leadership. They are deep honesty, ethical courage, explicit vision, kindness & careness. Being a leader is not an easy task. 

A common man can be a leader only when he can fully gain the trust and confidence of the common man and his followers. When ordinary people trust a leader, they will vote for the leader of their choice. With these innumerable votes of the common people, that leader has got the opportunity to serve the people by winning. So now the real thing is how is it possible to gain the trust and confidence of the general public?  So all the qualities that one should have to be a perfect leader were in our great leader Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu. Let’s talk about some of his great qualities.

1. Deep Honesty

As I said, a leader can only gain the trust of the people if he is an honest and ideal leader. Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu, the brilliant  son of Chittagong, was a very honest leader. He gained the trust of millions of people in a very short time after entering the field of politics. Because he was a very simple man, he was against corruption and he was always on the side of honesty. 

2. Ethical Courage 

Speaking the truth, requires a lot of courage to do politics. Because it is almost impossible to survive if you do not show courage in any government job starting from defense. These are very risky jobs that not everyone can do just because of lack of courage. Our great leader Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu was a very brave leader. He could solve difficult to difficult tasks very easily. He had already shown his bravery during the great liberation war in 1971. Moreover, after the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1975, he also showed his bravery there.

3. Explicit Vision 

What is the job of a leader? Can you tell me what your main job will be when you become a leader after getting everyone’s vote with so much effort? Of course you can, because the public has voted for you, believing that you will continue to work for their development once you become a leader. You have to move forward with this one core vision as our beloved leader Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu did. He has expanded his work in line with his vision and his only vision  was to work for the development of the people and the country. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu is so famous even today because he had this great quality in him.

4. Kindness & Careness

If we look at the pages of history, we can see that many great leaders were very kind and caring, they cared for their country, their nation and their society. If we talk about Bangladesh, that there was a leader in our Bangladesh who was very kind and caring, then the first name that will come to our mind is Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu. Those who have read the biography of Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu must have known that he built a number of schools-colleges-madrasas and various educational institutions in his own area. He had no arrogance even after he was born into an aristocratic family. 

He did not discriminate between rich and poor. Everyone was equal in his eyes. Moreover, he was involved in various social activities. When Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu’s wealth gradually increased, he was also involved in various charitable works.
