Are you worried about perishable products? Want to attract more customers? A commercial refrigerator is key to taking your business to the next level. Never say “not available” to your customers just because you do not have a fridge at your store. Many customers order their peri-peri fries, and you are making them from scratch. You could lose your valuable customers by having them wait for a long time. Buy a deep freezer and store your ready to cook fries. Your customers could compliment you for the quick service. Skope fridges have various options to choose from in accordance with your usage.

Commercial refrigerators find their space from a walk-in store to godowns. Selecting one depends on your usage and its purpose.

The working of a commercial fridge may look complex. But its exclusive purpose is to remove the heat from the food and cool it to avoid spoilage.

It works on the principle of the second law of Thermodynamics. When two objects of different temperatures come in contact, the heat transfer travels from the warmer object to the cold one. Refrigerators use a substance called refrigerant at low temperatures.

This cool refrigerant removes heat from the food or medicine placed in the storage area. Skope fridges use premium refrigerants and compressors to ensure high quality.

Well, the principle of cooling may be easy, but selecting the right refrigerator could be a challenge.

Types of commercial refrigerators

There are many types of refrigerators. One expects a commercial fridge to have exceptional performance and reliability. Skope fridges have high efficiency and reliability. Some of the most common refrigerators are

1. Worktop refrigerators

This refrigerator provides you with both workspaces and cold space to store foods, and it is best suited for a place with very little space. These often come with provisions to organise your ingredients, and they find their uses in the front kitchen or middle of the kitchen.

2. Reach-in

It is the fundamental type of refrigerator seen in almost all kitchens. One can store a wide variety of things in them.

A reach-in keeps your item cool and accessible at arm’s length, and it is why these are called reach-in fridges. Some models have glass to see through and monitor the products within them.

3. Walk-in fridges

As the name suggests, it gives you the feel of a cold room. They have more storage capacity to store all your raw ingredients or products. One can easily walk into the refrigerator and access their products. There are a lot of differences between a walk-in and a reach-in refrigerator, and it is essential to choose the right one for your usage. Wholesale production units use these refrigerators for bulk and low-temperature storage purposes.

4. Merchandiser fridges

These types of refrigerators are similar to the reach-in type. But you can store and display your products simultaneously in it. Displaying the products attracts customers and allows you to check the quantity of the products present.

5. Two temperature system

These are similar to the reach-in fridges with an added advantage of two temperatures. Similar to domestic fridges with both refrigerators and freezers. These are best to use when there is not enough space for a separate refrigerator and a freezer.

6. Bar refrigerators

Bar refrigerators are exclusively meant to store alcoholic beverages, drink garnishing ingredients and snacks. Some models even have glass doors to exhibit their contents to the customers. Some models also have kegs and dispense the drinks through faucets.

7. Refrigerated display cases

These are customer friendly as customers can look at the product before buying them. These find their uses in bakeries and meat stalls. Some bakeries have glass displays that are curved outward to avoid the reach of customers. Some have glass doors and allow access to their customers. These are also used in supermarkets to store dairy-related products.

7. Undercounters

These have all features of a full-size refrigerator but in a small size, and it is compact to use and has a lot of features. They provide easy access to the ingredients for a chef in the kitchen. They do not substitute for refrigerators, but this is a good option if you need an extra fridge for easy access to meal prep in restaurants.
