Did you ever wonder what huawei is doing right now without GMS so without the google mobile services well I do have to admit I haven’t had a Huawei phone since the ban from google mobile services? So I was very intrigued when they offered me the chance to try a few phones out and see what I think of it so I borrowed the huawei p40 lite.

Huawei’s mobile services that they now use on Huawei phones because of the p40 but I’m curious to see if the huawei p40 lite will be the same or will be different will it have the same things I could not do will I be able to do everything I want with this new huawei phone will it have the same laid backs or will I have better usage of the phone.

Assembly

In general, now I’m very curious to find out so I can’t wait to check this phone to show you what is inside of course. It has six gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of internal storage if we then look at the bottom of the phone and you will see at the bottom you have a speaker grille, microphone USB-C port, and a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack always good to have those on the right side you have the power button which also functions as a fingerprint reader and of course the volume keys with which are all in one. On the top you only have a microphone and on the side, you have the sim tray and we are talking about a dual nano sim card reader but fortunately, you can put up to 256 gigabytes of storage in the huawei p40 lite on a nano sd card and the front here, of course, you have the 6.4-inch ips LCD you can see the selfie camera.

Fingerprint & Face Id

This has both a fingerprint reader and a face id and you can activate both alright. The fingerprint reader works fast. It is a light tap don’t really press hard you need a gentle tapping and it’s on. If we talk about the face id and you can also put a turn on raise to activate.

Camera

It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera and also has an option of the wide camera which shoots video up to 1080p 30fps the whole phone is powered by the Kirin 810 which is of course a mid-range but very good chip. If you open the huawei p40 lite without putting anything on it you have 12.78 gigabytes used from the 128 in total and let’s quickly open up the camera later you will see in the camera photo video more which gives you a lot of possibilities super macro hdr panorama slow-motion pro functions so you can tamper with basically all the settings in the camera it’s up to you. You can take portrait photos as well. Anyways at the back, there is a 48-megapixel camera an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera 2-megapixel macro camera 2-megapixel depth camera that can shoot up to 1080p with 30fps.

One-handed mode feature

One-handed mode is the coolest feature of huawei p40 lite and to enable this you will go into the settings then scroll down to where it says accessibility features so you’ll tap on that one time and then you’ll see the option it says one-handed mode so if it’s currently off you’ll go into it and then you go ahead and enable it by tapping on the switch to the bottom and of course to the very top section they demonstrate to you as to how to enable the one-handed mode and the easiest way for me is to just simply slide across on your navigation bar to activate it and then you’ll just do the opposite to re-enable back into full screen.
