  • Keep the Pit Clean

Keeping your sump pump clean doesn’t only mean wiping out unwanted development growing inside the pump and taking out its segments.   • Test the Sump Pump

  • Switch off the sump pump. Meanwhile, make sure no one is using any electrical appliance like a washing machine that will drain water into the sump pit. 
  • Make use of the garden hose to rinse the pump. Also, remove unwanted debris by using a knife or scraper. 
  • Clean the sump pit using a wet vac. 
  • Once the pump is dry, fit the discharge pipe again and connect it to its main source.
