The building is in depleted condition due to lack of maintenance.
Prambanan Temples
This is a UNESCO world heritage site, the compound compromise of ruins of 244 temples. The temples were built 9th century and biggest Hindu sites in Indonesia. In the courtyard, there are eight large and eight minor temples in a raised platform. The most impressive feature of this site is a 154 feet high temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This place was abandoned as the Hindu rulers moved to East Java.
