Regular practice of mock tests will assist in quick calculations and help you get hands-on practice on exam level questions. It will also provide you an exam-like feel. You can also solve the NDA previous year papers to know the format of questions that are asked in the exam.
To Save Time Calculate Faster–
There will be many mathematical questions in the exam. You will be having calculations while solving questions. If you speed up your calculations, it can save you ample time. It is advised that you memorize tables up to 20. Learn the squares up to 30 and cubes up to 20. You can also use tricks to solve 2 to 3 digits multiplication.
Make your basics strong
If you solve a particular question with mere knowledge of tricks without knowing the basic concepts of that topic can backfire. This strategy can help you at certain places in solving some questions. But if you ever face a complex question on that topic that is concept-based it is a high chance that you attempt that question incorrectly.
So it is always better to first be familiar with the basics of the topics and then remember the tricks to solve it to save time.
Never keep changing your knowledge sources:
Students waste a lot of time while just deciding the source of study material. They give a lot of thought in deciding which source is credible and which is not. The Internet is a good place to get access to a lot of information. Too much information can have its drawback. Keep in mind that you don’t end up wasting your time just to decide what study material you need to prepare from. You must make sure that what you received is up-to-date and reliable.
